for business owners

What Our BOP Covers

The Hospitality Insurance Group BOP provides comprehensive coverage for eligible businesses, combining foundational protections into one policy. Coverage may be enhanced through optional endorsements to better match individual risk profiles.

The BOP can be written for businesses with or without a liquor exposure. For businesses that sell or serve alcohol, a separate liquor liability application is required.

Excess liability coverage of up to $1 million may also be available in addition to the BOP, subject to underwriting guidelines.
for agents

Fast, Agent-Friendly Quoting

To help agents work more efficiently, Hospitality Insurance Group offers a BOP Quick Quote tool that provides a premium indication in under five minutes.

This tool allows agents to:
Quickly determine if a risk is within appetite
Gauge pricing without completing a full application
Seamlessly convert a Quick Quote into a full submission when appropriate
By reducing upfront paperwork, the Quick Quote tool helps eliminate guesswork and allows agents to focus on building relationships and growing their book of business.

Expanded Appetite: Mixed-Use Buildings

Hospitality Insurance Group has expanded BOP eligibility to include mixed-use buildings with habitational occupancies, provided the following criteria are met:
Residential occupancy does not exceed 40% of the total building
Habitational units have at least two means of egress
Hardwired and interconnected smoke detectors are installed
This expanded appetite creates new opportunities in urban and mixed-use environments where these property types are common.

Enhancement Options: Prime & Prime Deluxe

The BOP can be enhanced with one of two optional endorsement packages:
Prime
Prime Deluxe
These enhancement endorsements add additional coverage features beyond the base BOP, allowing agents to tailor protection based on client needs.
